Geelong Civic Administration Precinct Final Stages

The City of Greater Geelong is now in the final stages of the Civic Administration Precinct Competition. A winner will be announced from the shortlisted three teams epc.Pacific, Quintessential Equity and Raffles Charter Pty Ltd in October. 

“Council is now looking forward to working with the shortlisted teams to present high quality, innovative concepts for the new precinct. The potential for this project is huge, and we are determined to see the precinct become a world class area that the Geelong community is proud of.” -  Mayor Bruce Harwood

2020 Victorian Design Challenge Launch


CityLab is pleased to announce the launch of the 2020 Victorian Design Challenge.

The Competition seeks compelling design ideas and proposals that respond to the 2020 theme of e-waste. VDC is partnering with E-Waste Watch to provoke design responses that help to tackle the problem of electronic waste.

Double Ground by Muir and Openwork wins Kevin Borland Award for Small Architecture


Winning Entry of the 2018 NGV Architecture Commission “Doubleground” by Muir and Openwork receives the Kevin Borland Award for small architecture at the 2019 AIA Victorian Architecture Awards. CityLab runs the design competition for the Architecture Commission in collaboration with the NGV.

BKK + KTA + Aspect Studio wins Whitehorse Performing Arts Centre Competition

 
CityLab is pleased to announce the outcome of the architectural competition for the Whitehorse Performing Arts Centre redevelopment. The winning team was BKK Architects with Kerstin Thompson Architects and Aspect Studio. CityLab is Competitions Advisor for this architectural competition.
